Dead heat
A dead heat splits the stake when two selections tie for the placing the bet named. The reduction is in the book’s racing or outright rules, not in the sports homepage.
Crypto books that offer outrights still write this clause. Read it before an outright on a tournament.
How we read terms
Primary source first. For each book we encode a deny list from that book’s own terms, AML page, or restricted-jurisdiction article. Secondary “reviews” are not the list.
